Event Details

If your child is fascinated by Dinosaurs, then Dino-Trolley is the event for you. Dino-Trolley will be held on July 12th & 13th and 19th & 20th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

All activities will be on-going throughout the day including:

• Dino Hunt - Search for dinosaurs while on board a safari trolley. Dinosaurs will be stationed in the woods along the railway; can you spot them as the trolley goes by? Our trolley crew will slow down to give you time to spot them, as well as narrative. These dinosaurs are not animatronics, they are non-moving dinosaur figures.
• Fossil Dig Station - Dig and explore fossils while playing a paleontologist.
• I-Spy Scavenger Hunt - Search for dinosaurs throughout the Visitor Center to earn a prize.
• Dinosaur Craft - Make and take home a dinosaur trolley craft.
• Animatronic Dino Close-up Experience ($) - Take a picture with an 8-foot interactive Tyrannosaurs Rex. An extra fee applies for this photo-op.
• Dino Egg Hunt - Can you find dinosaurs eggs hidden around the campus? Find an egg to redeem for a prize.
• Photo Station - Take a picture with your group to remember Dino-Trolley!

Inside the Visitor Center you will find static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a dinosaur movie, and a gift shop to buy that 'special' souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.

Tickets

For the best experience, we highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability is not guaranteed. If space allows, we'll be happy to accommodate you at the door. Tickets are for admission to the Trolley Musuem and a specific departure time for the trolley ride. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your selected departure time.

Infants or children under 2 years of age can travel on the lap of an adult for free.

Member Tickets: Engineer, Conductor, and Motorman levels allow for discount event admission for the individual member only. Caboose memberships (i.e., family membership), and higher tiers, are permitted up to six (6) discount event admissions. Membership Details

All tickets sales are final. Refunds or transfers are only honored up to seven days before the date of the event. After this period, no changes can be made. Transfers and refunds will have a charge associated with the transaction. No-shows will be charged the full price, so be sure to plan ahead and reserve your spot early for this experience!
