The Behind-the-Scenes tour will give you an opportunity to take a close-up look at some of the current restoration projects including Connecticut Company #3001, Northern Ohio Traction & Light Co. #1500, and Brooklyn Rapid Transit #169. Additionally, tour non-public parts of the trolley museum campus with a Museum guide and watch demonstations of a hand-pump car that is manually powered by railway maintenance crews.
At the Fire Truck Museum, learn more about our sixteen fire trucks and fire alarm office with a working 1904 Gamewell panel fire alarm system that is actively used at the Trolley Museum.
The Connecticut Trolley Museum is excited to honor Fathers and Grandfathers with free admission with a paid adult or child admission.

Addtional Guidelines: Masks are required for those not vaccinated. Reduced capacity on closed trolleys and social distancing continues to be practiced within the Visitor Center.
Tickets must be purchased in advance as there will be no ticket sales at the Trolley Museum on the day of the event. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable.
