Event Details

Dino-Trolley tickets are SOLD OUT for both the July 8 and July 9, 2023 dates.

If your child is fascinated by Dinosaurs, then Dino-Trolley is the event for you. Dino-Trolley will be held on July 8th & 9th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

All activities will be on-going throughout the day including:

Dino Hunt - Search for dinosaurs while on board a safari trolley. Large scale dinosaurs will be hidden in the woods along the railway; can you spot them as the trolley goes by?
Fossil Dig Station - Dig and explore fossils while playing a paleontologist.
I-Spy Scavenger Hunt - Search for dinosaurs throughout the Visitor Center to earn a prize.
Dinosaur Craft - Make and take home a dinosaur trolley craft.
Dinosaur Photo Op - Take a picture with an 8-foot Tyrannosaurs Rex who will be walking around the property.
Dino Egg Hunt - Can you find dinosaurs eggs hidden around the campus? Find an egg to redeem for a prize.
Photo Station - Take a picture with your group to remember Dino-Trolley!

Inside the Visitor Center you will find static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a dinosaur movie, and a gift shop to buy that 'special' souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.

The Connectiut Trolley Museum is open and trolley rides operate rain or shine.

Infants or children under 2 years of age can travel on the lap of an adult for free.

Tickets

Tickets must be purchased in advance as there will be no ticket sales at the Trolley Museum on the day of the event. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your selected departure time.

This event has sold out.

All tickets sales are final. Refunds or transfers are only honored up to two weeks before the date of the event. No-shows will be charged the full price.
